Welcome to Rocky Glade Farms!
Rocky Glade Farms LLC is a fourth generation family farm located in Woodsboro, MD owned and operated by Marlin Hildebrand and Family. We currently farm approximately 250 acres here in Woodsboro and have actively farmed and lived here since 1925.
A Little About Us
Our Farm
Our farm has been protected by Frederick County Ag Preservation since 2001 and we continue to carry forward the best conservation and soil regeneration practices into the future. Transitioning away from dairy farming in 2023, we raise beef cattle, pigs and chickens along with crop farming. We participate with the MD Soil Conservation Program and MD Cover Crop Program using no-till crop rotation.
What We Offer
Our crops include corn, soybeans, hay, and rotational multi-species crops. We also have a small flower stand that is open on the weekends throughout the summer. We offer direct to customer meat sales, including individual cuts and larger portions of beef and pork. We offer online ordering here on our website with an Order-Pick Up spot on the farm along with a 24/7 egg fridge.
Our Goals
All of our animals are fed and cared for here on our farm. We also work with nutritionists to optimize our feed, integrate our crops and aid in rationing for all of our animals; beef, pigs, and chickens.
Our future goals include a farm stand and store in the future! We love sharing our farm and family with you!
